Doug Stone lives in Albany, Oregon. He is the author of two poetry collections, and The Moon's Soul Shimmering on the Water.  His poetry has appeared in journals including Timberline Review, Cloudbank, and Fireweed. He has also had poems published in The Oregonian and in the anthology A Ritual to Read Together: Poems in Conversation with William Stafford. He was the winner of the Oregon Poetry Association’s Fall 2016 Poet’s Choice Award.
